One of the main tenets of the Communist Manifesto is for “Social Justice.” An egalitarian concept that justifies the practice of socialism, and only a centralized government can bring equality to everyone.

To be equal, therefore, requires the abolition of privacy and property rights. This is in direct contrast to capitalism, which respects the rights of individuals, their property, and a minimum of government intervention in their lives.
